Overview
He was born in Isparta on 29 July 1983 as a one child of musician father.
In his early years he was affected from his father who gave his own drum set at the tender age of five.
He began taking drum lessons from him until the high school years.
In his final year of school he started to play with Tas Plak. At age 19 he began to work at night clubs in Antalya. He began to deal with all kinds of music. Playing drums became a passion for him.
He loves fusion, rock and funk drumming best. He came to Istanbul after finishing the military service in Harmony team in Ankara. He worked with rock music singer Haluk Levent in many years.
He has worked with a variety of artists from Turkey, Hande Yener, Haluk Levent , Sinan Akçıl, Gülşen, O Ses Türkiye, Burak Kut, Koray Avcı, Yildiz Tilbe, Selami Şahin, Rafet El Roman, Husnu Senlendirici, Fuat Guner, Gokhan Turkmen, Muslum Gurses, Atakan Ilgazdag, Soul Project Band, Buziki Orhan Osman, Bilal Karaman, Genco Ari, Serdar Oztop, Neset Ruacan .
He played drums also for Demis Roussos in Istanbul Concert.
He is a professional drummer and on the other hand song writer and back vocal, plays bass guitar. He has many arrangements for songs.
His group became the first in the 13. Roxy Music Awards and won the Special Jury Prize too.
Onur Soydemir stil works with ; Bengü, Hüsnü Şenlendirici, Gülcin Ergül, Koray Avcı, Burak Kut and Atakan Ilgazdag, Play Tv shows, Studio records and concerts. lives in Istanbul.

Which drummer/band influenced you most into playing drums?
My first drum teacher who happens to be my father, Ahmet Soydemir and as sinder I can say Mory Kante, Micheal Jackson :)
What do you like most about being a drummer?
Playing a powerful instrument
What is the worst thing to happen to you during a show?
Once in the middle of a gig the kick drumhead has torn apart and the kick pedal was stuck inside (for a moment when the kick beat stoppped everyone turned and looked at me, it was kind of an upbeat song so I played the floor tom as the Kick drum and laughed and started having more fun :) show must go on!
What do you practice and for how long?
Traditional rudiments, usually I like practicing while i'm watching something like a movie or series, this way I can practice for long hours
What is your best advice to a young player wanting to make it in this industry?
My advice for them is to listen to a lot of music, apart from drums they can learn to play bass, knowing harmony makes you groove better in music
