Cajons are the perfect introduction to the world of percussion. Affordable, easy to carry and just plain fun to play. Pearl offers a diverse collection of Cajons and a complete selection of accessories to customize your sound.

Mach 1

Utilizing Birch and Walnut, the Mach 1 features guitar wires installed in the Flamenco W style for a crisp snare sound. Walnut is used for the faceplate to provide a deeper tone. The body is constructed using premium Birch and features a rear facing bass port.

Mach 2

The Mach 2 Cajon features twoisolated playing zones that provide snare and bass tones. The top Birch snare area creates a bright response while the Walnut bass area produces a punchy low end response. TheMach 2, is perfect forsmall acoustic settings or larger amplified venues.

Mach 3

The Mach 3 Cajon is a member of the Sonic Boom cajon family and features a 100% Birch body with three isolated playing zones that produce snare, bass and tom sounds. Internal chambers isolate these playing zones and prevents any cross-talk. Each chambers has a designated port on the rear of the cajon with anadditional port for increased bass. Like other cajons in the Sonic Boom family, the Mach 3 Cajon features a backwards tilted front plate to provide the player with a comfortable playing position, eliminating the need to hunch over or rock the cajon backwards to strike the face. This Made-in-America beauty has a multi-tonal impact like no other cajon on the market and is perfect for the small acoustic setting or larger amplified venues.

Afterburner Cajon

The Afterburner cajon features dual rear-firing bass ports that resemble the exhaust on a classic hot rod and delivers the same low end rumble. The 100% Birch body has a premium grain natural finish.

Sonic Boom Flame Thrower Cajon

The Sonic Boom Flame Thrower cajon features a Flame Maple faceplate that adds an additionalvoice to the Sonic Boom family that include Birch and Walnut faceplate options. Maple delivers equal tonal amounts of highs, mids and lows. Two strategically placed bassports are located at the top on the back to increase snare projection.

Sonic Boom Buzz Cajon

The Sonic Boom Buzz cajon is the first member of the Sonic Boom cajon family to includesnares. Sonic Boom cajons are known for their massive low end, so if you are looking for a cajon with enough bass the rattle the room and snare response to cut through, look no farther than the Sonic Boom Buzz. The Walnut faceplate is angled for player comfort with a front facing bass port for maximum projection.

Sonic Boom Cajon

The Sonic Boom Cajonhas a tonal impact like no other cajon on the market, and sets the standard for low end punch. The all Birch body and faceplate provide wondrous resonance that speaks clearly through the cajon's frontfacing bass port.

Wedge Tri-Side Cajon

The Wedge Tri-Side cajon is designed to provide the player with the most comfortable playing position by having two matching striking plates that are easily played by each hand while sitting in an upright position. Simply dropping your hands to your side places them in the proper position to strike the drum.

Two-Face Cajon

The Two-Face Cajon from Pearl Percussion has two distinct personalities,with two different playing faces on the front and back. One face is 5mm thick offering a more mellow woody sound, while the reverse face is 3mm thick and gives all the punch, thump, and crack you could ask for. Both sides feature 2sets of fixed snares.The body of the cajon is constructed using Asiatic hardwood and the face plates are Rubberwood. Rubberwood comes from the Para rubber tree and is very environmentally friendly. Rubberwood is a light-colored, medium-density tropical hardwood perfect for cajons.

Cube Cajon

The Cube Cajon is one of the most unique cajons Pearl has ever offered. Small in stature, but large in sound, the Cube Cajon is a square 12.5”x12.5” fiberglass cajon which features 5 diverse playing surfaces with one side ported for additional low frequency resonance. Multiple timbres are achievable via the Cube Cajon’s varying wall thickness. The thinner the wall, the lower the pitch; the thicker the wall, the higher the pitch. Two sides come fixed with inner snare wires to produce a sizzling snare slap.

Boom Box Cajon

The Boom Box Cajoncreates never-before-heard low-end frequencies from a Fiberglass cajon! This cajon features the high-quality construction you expect from Pearl, with a fixed snare system and a built-in bass port for subsonic frequencies you have to hear to believe!

Brush Beat Cajon

This fiberglass constructed cajon features a textured playing surfaces which speak remarkably well with brushes and other implements. The front and sides of the cajon feature large, black textured areawhich fade to a smooth feel towards the top of the cajon. The Brush Beat Cajon is patterned after Pearl’s Boom Box Cajon, and features a fixed-snare system, as well as a built-in bass port that magnifies the cajon’s subsonic frequencies for a dynamic low-end sonority.

Jingle Cajon

The Pearl Jingle Cajon features 2 sets of adjustable jingles on the faceplate. A set of Brazilianplatinela and stainless steel tambourinejingles make up the sets. The cajon can be played with the jingles turned on or off and anywhere in between. The Jingle Cajon features a fiberglass body and hardwood faceplate with three sets of fixed snares.

Fun Box Cajon

In response to increased support and awareness of the value of music and drums in education, particularly with young children, Pearl has created the Fun Box. The Fun Box, much like Pearl’s popular Fun Drum Djembe, is specially designed for use by kids to help them develop proper playing mechanics while playing an instrument in a smaller, kid-friendly size. The Fun Box features the same bright yellow finish with tribal inlay as the Fun Drum, and itsdurable Fiberglass constructionmakes it a perfect addition for use in educational programs.

Primero Cajons

The body of thesePrimero cajons is constructed using MDF, Medium-density Fiberboardwhich creates a solid and durable sound chamber. Four of these models feature Meranti faceplates. Meranti is a wood known for its relative hardness and straight grain making it ideal for cajons. A built in bass port magnifies the massive low-end tone of the cajon while two sets of fixed snare wires provide a bright, crisp snare response. Each of these Primero cajons feature a look as distinctive as the percussionist who play them.
