Overview

Behemoth have always pushed the limits of their abilities and defied the boundaries of extreme metal. And now again, INFERNO and his fellow Polish metal kings have returned with a new offering, ‘The Satanist’, which is once again destined to become both the defining release of the band's career and one of the most revered and dynamic offerings the genre has seen in years.  This highly anticipated new album, their first full length since 2009, has exceeded and demolished expectations on every front and debuted at #34 on the Billboard Top 200 charts.
Behemoth built their career upon their unrelenting touring schedule, performing hundreds of shows worldwide in support of their released albums.

Originally formed by a teenage Nergal in 1991, Behemoth quickly made a name for themselves in black metal circles with four early cult albums. But it wasn't until the release of ‘Pandemonic Incantations’ and the addition of INFERNO on drums that the band started to realize their true potential. Songs became catchier, where the musicianship and production vastly improved.
Now Behemoth has become an unstoppable live force. They have set a new standard in massive production, colossal sound and song craft for all others to meet.

Their major worldwide touring insanity helped the group to more than solidify themselves as one of the genre's most exciting artists… and so Behemoth quickly became one of the most talked about acts due to their vicious and unrelenting live shows, which immediately garnered them a whole new legion of devoted fans.
While most bands struggle to evolve and stay vital within the extreme music genre, Behemoth manages to do so effortlessly. ‘The Satanist’  is destined to continue the legacy.

INFERNO joined Behemoth in 1997. He is known as one of the fastest and most technically proficient drummers in today's extreme metal scene. An example of his drumming speed can be heard on the Behemoth song ‘Modern Iconoclast’ from ‘Zos Kia Cultus (Here and Beyond)’. Also at ‘Slaying The Prophets ov Isa and Pazuzu’ from ‘The Apostasy’ he has reached a tempo of 260bpm in the studio.

Make sure to check them out and witness selves what that mind-blowing live experience is everybody is talking about… Blow your trumpets for the mighty INFERNO and Behemoth!!!

Artist Interview:

What is it you like so much about playing Pearl Drums?
I found in Pearl very powerful sounding snare and toms (Reference and Reference Pure series) and of course the best hardware in the world!

Which drummer/band influenced you most into playing drums?
John Bonham, Neil Peart, Dave Lombardo, Dave Grohl, Krysztof Raczkowski, Mikkey Dee, Snowy Shaw.

Who in your mind are the drummers of tomorrow, who has caught you eye?
At this moment I can enumerate for example Eloy Casagrande, Krimh Lehner and Uno Bruniusson.

What do you like most about being a drummer?
I like to be the spine of the whole band and to feel the adrenaline on stage. It is addictive and you canít compare this feeling with anything else.

What is the worst thing to happen to you during a show?
It happens every day when I play and it is pain going from lower back. Probably most of the often touring drummers have the same problem.

What do you practice and for how long?
Regular stretching before every show, a lot of single and double strokes and some warming up, physical exercise.

What is your best advice to a young player wanting to make it in this industry?
If you are person with a lot of passion, determination and possibility to sacrifice your life to music then you'll manage it.

If you had the chance to play drums for another artist who would it be?
There is no band I would like to play with and donít want to build everything again from the beginning.
