David Steinquest

Overview
David Steinquest is the Professor of Percussion at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. He teaches percussion lessons, conducts the Percussion Ensemble, and coordinates the Mid-South Jazz Festival.
Steinquest served on the faculties of Albion College, the University of Arkansas, and the National Music Camp at Interlochen, and was a member of the United States Military Academy Band at West Point. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Northeast Louisiana University and a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from the University of Michigan.
Steinquest performs regularly with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, including two concerts at Carnegie Hall and a number of Grammy Award-winning recordings. He has a large catalog of percussion compositions and arrangements with Row-Loff Productions. He endorses Pearl/Adams percussion instruments and Innovative Percussion sticks and mallets.
