a Pearl Masters Maple snare drum, supervised personally by Miguel Lamas.
LIMITED INSTRUMENT
Pearl Masters Maple Snare
This limited instrument is supervised by Miguel Lamas and began with a specific challenge: how to capture a “Vintage Soul” while maintaining the precision required for modern performance.
To achieve this, we moved away from industry standards, even away from our own Master Maple standards. While most snares settle for 5” or 6.5” depths, this resulted in a unique 5.5”, 6-ply Maple shell. This specific dimension was chosen to bridge the gap, offering the lightning-fast response of a shallow snare with the low-end punch of a deep shell.
Combined with die-cast hoops and a custom-engineered, vintage-inspired internal muffler system, every feature was co-designed to deliver total harmonic control in the studio and on stage. Finished in deep black with yellow stripes, and black hardware.
