Throughout a percussion education and performance career spanning over three decades since 1992, Will has had the privilege of collaborating with numerous esteemed West Michigan programs, including Grandville High School, Reeths-Puffer High School, Hudsonville High School, Jenison High School, and Godwin Heights High School. 

His performance background includes marching snare drum with the Northern Aurora Drum and Bugle Corps (1992–1994) before aging out with the Phantom Regiment in 1995. He subsequently transitioned into instructional roles, serving on the percussion staff for the Phantom Legion (formerly Phantom Regiment Cadets) from 1998 to 1999. 

As a program developer, Will founded and directed multiple competitive indoor ensembles, including Great Lakes Percussion (PIW) from 2000 to 2008 and Genesis Percussion (PIW) from 2009 to 2019. Currently, Will serves as the Co-Director of Grandville Independent, based in Grandville, Michigan. 

Will is currently the Athletic Bands Director for Davenport University and the percussion director for Grandville High School. He also serves as the marching percussion coordinator for Grand Valley State University. Will resides in Jenison, MI with his wife Alicia and their 4 children.
