Overview
Seth McConnell is the principal timpanist of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, a position he has held since 2013. He can be heard on several albums released by the FWSO under the labels Harmonia Mundi and MSR Classics. Seth has performed with the Baltimore, Dallas, San Antonio and San Francisco Symphonies, as well as the Norwegian Radio Orchestra. He is a founding member of the Caminos Del Inka Ensemble, which performs traditional, classical, and contemporary music, based on the culture and history of South America. A native New Yorker, he holds degrees from the New England Conservatory and Purchase Conservatory. Seth is a proud endorser of Pearl/Adams, Remo, and Luft Mallets, and is an active clinician and educator in the North Texas area.
