Overview
Kim Jin won is a founding member of the well known South Korean band, YB. His explosive style and powerful yet flexible touch has seen him performing non-stop for over 26 years in the band. Raised in Sokcho, Gangwondo, where he can still be found surfing regularly, he continues to be one of the hardest working drummers in the Korean music rock scene. YB are considered to be one of the most influential bands in K-rock, with ten regular albums, numerous other releases and live albums, and winners of multiple music awards. With YB, Jin Won has played in many countries and cities across the world, and more recently for peace in Pyeongyang, North Korea. his live shows reflect his passion for expressing songs in their most definitive form, the best they can be. Regular three hour live sets on tour are testament to his adaptability to playing various styles, but also endurance at the top level.
