Overview
Cameron Halls is a Percussion Educator & Arranger with diverse experience in both concert and marching percussion. He is currently the Director of Percussion at the Tarpon Springs Leadership Conservatory for the Arts in Tarpon Springs, FL. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Michigan State University, where he studied under Dr. Jon Weber and Professor Gwendolyn Dease, performing with the Spartan Marching Band, Wind Symphony, and Percussion Ensemble. His writing and design work can be heard through Resonant Music Design, where he collaborates with a range of scholastic and independent programs.
From 2020-2023, Cameron was on the percussion staff of the Madison Scouts. He also taught with the ConneXus Battery Staff during the 2024 and 2025 WGI seasons. In addition to his work with competitive ensembles, Cameron teaches at a variety of educational camps and clinics, including the Music For All Summer Symposium and the Michigan State University Performing Arts Camp. As a performer, Cameron was a member of the Concord Blue Devils, Carolina Crown, Rhythm X, and NorthCoast Academy.
