Overview

Founded in 1940, the Boston Crusaders (BAC) is the third-oldest junior drum and bugle corps in the nation and a proud charter member of Drum Corps International. Composed entirely of brass, percussion, and color guard members under the age of 22, the Boston Crusaders travel over 10,000 miles each summer to compete on the Drum Corps International Tour.

Over their 80+ year history, the Boston Crusaders have grown from a modest neighborhood activity into a national powerhouse. The Boston Crusaders have been consistent DCI finalists since 1999 and hold two George Zingali Best Color Guard titles for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. Known for their tenacious attitude and commitment to excellence, the Boston Crusaders seek to challenge members to reach their highest potential as artists and people on and off the performance field.

The Boston Crusaders is an Inspire Arts & Music program and a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
