Adam Janzi
VOLA
Overview
Adam Janzi is a skilled drummer and percussionist from Sweden, known for his creative and powerful drumming style. He started playing drums at the age of 13 and has since built a successful career, performing with both national and international acts. Currently, Adam plays with the Danish/Swedish progressive metal band VOLA and is the live drummer for the Swedish pop star DOTTER. He is also part of a new world-music project called OLANE.
Adam's first drum kit was a Pearl Masters 50th Anniversary Ltd. Emerald Green, and he still uses it today, although his style has greatly evolved. His unique approach to drumming includes using unconventional items like cymbal stacks, trashcans, glass, and sand, creating a distinct sound.
Adam has toured around the world, performed at events like Eurovision, and appeared on radio and TV shows. He has played at many international festivals and has done plenty of session recordings. He notably recorded drums for the AAA video game "Metal: Hellsinger," which features well-known artists including Serj Tankian from System Of A Down.
Besides performing, Adam also teaches drums and creates his own music content. He films, records, edits, and mixes most of these projects himself. Recently, he started to explore his own music, working as a composer and singer, especially with his latest project, "NOC." Adam continues to push his music career forward, with more exciting projects on the horizon.
