Philharmonic
Today's music requires instruments with power, projection, and fullness of sound. Today's percussionists demand instruments that have a tonal quality that can be used in the studio for the most delicate passages, powerful enough to be heard at the back of the stadium, and durable enough to last on the road. Pearl Philharmonic concert toms do all that with the best hardware on the market to back it up.
Pearl's Philharmonic Series Concert Toms feature 100% 6-ply African Mahogany shells for a rich sustain and powerful penetrating bass tones.
The Double-Headed Toms are equipped with Pearl’s outstanding R2 Air Tom suspension system. Its exclusive four-point floating isolation platform was developed following a two-year research and development journey. By understanding that every drum's best mounting point is in the CENTER of each shell, mounting weight is equally balanced across two floating points at the top and bottom of each tom. This gives true tonal separation from mounting hardware and enhances sonic output.
The Single-Headed Toms are equipped with Pearl’s Opti-Loc suspension tom holders allow the shell to resonate freely resulting in maximum sustain and resonance.

This highly respected acoustic wood offers a wide dynamic range and a well-balanced overtone response.
