Finalist snares and tenors borrow the Championship Series bearing edge, maple reinforcement rings, and size configuration recipes for the ultimate performance experience.

Finalist tenors feature a new medium-depth “Mid-Cut” shell for reduced weight, and Pearl's standard fully rounded bearing edges with maple reinforcement rings that add depth and punch to the birch shell tone. 

Pearl's Folkloric line of congas feature a traditional look with modern innovation that only Pearl can deliver. Each 28” tall Oak drum is designed for the “seated” player, but includes stand mounts for players who prefer to stand. Thicker South American-style natural skin heads make the drums warm-sounding, but a fiberglass gel coating on the interior seals the shell and add the projection and volume desired by today’s players. Four Polished Steel Reinforcing Bands are inset on the shell for a smooth touch, and the traditional hoops complete these stunning Cuban instruments.

Finalist Traditional Tenors provide a warm tenor voicing to your battery, in an all-new 6 Even-Ply Birch shell. Traditionally carried to be positioned horizontally for bass-style playing, these tenor drums feature 2 eye hooks to accept back straps/harness assemblies.

In response to increased support and awareness of the value of music and drums in education, particularly with young children, Pearl has created the Fun Box. The Fun Box, much like Pearl’s popular Fun Drum Djembe, is specially designed for use by kids to help them develop proper playing mechanics while playing an instrument in a smaller, kid-friendly size. The Fun Box features the same bright yellow finish with tribal inlay as the Fun Drum, and its durable Fiberglass construction makes it a perfect addition for use in educational programs.

Playing tight rhythmic patterns on a Cabasa is not the easiest thing to do, but Pearl’s Gatling Cabasa will make you sound like a virtuoso in seconds. The Gatling Cabasa mounts onto a standard 3/8” accessory post and features a spring-loaded rubber-padded clamp that firmly presses the beads to the Cabasa.
 

Simply grab the precision handle and fire away to play any pattern you wish, or keep spinning it for an infinite “sizzle” that is not possible with standard Cabasas.
