A classic shell fusion derived from Pearl’s original Masters shell recipe featuring reinforced North American Maple plies from our Masterworks Veneer Vault. Delivers a sophisticated balance of tone and power, with sustained lows and centered midrange. Includes 45° bearing edge.

An EvenPly-Six blend of North American Maple and figured Sweet Gum, this studio optimized shell recipe delivers explosive tonal clarity and articulate, punchy power for recording. Includes shallow 60° bearing edge.

Features MasterCast Die-Cast Hoops and the BRL Swivel Lug. These heavier hardware appointments hold tuning under extra heavy play, increase shell weight, add attack and volume, and shorten decay. 

Included FatTone 1.6mm Hoops and the STL Swivel Tube Lugs reduce shell weight by 30%, adding body and sustain to Reference Pure's thinner shell. 

Configured with FatTone 1.6mm Hoops and Pearl's classic CL Bridge Lugs complement the rounded tonal vibe of Masters Maple Reserve's thin 4-ply shell, with a slight spike in top end attack. 

MasterCast Die-Cast Hoops and Pearl's classic CL Bridge Lugs are applied to add attack and punch to the classic Maple/Gum shell. This thin shell/medium heavy hardware combination decreases overtone and extends dynamic range.
