Overview
Vincent Velazco is a UK-based professional drummer with years of live and studio experience. His hard work, dedication and commitment to his craft has led him to tour all over the UK, Europe, South America, USA and Japan and he has collaborated and recorded with Gus G (Ozzy Osbourne & Firewind), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater) Pendragon, The 69 Eyes, Steven Rothery (Marillion), Raymond Watts PIG/KMFDM, Ben Christo (The Sisters of Mercy) Esprit D’Air and many more. He has been featured in DRUM Magazine in the UK, Drum Club Magazine in Italy and Batterie Magazine in France.
With Pendragon, he has recorded 4 albums, a live DVD, and played and headlined in major festivals in Europe and the U.S. alongside bands such as Dream Theater, Scorpions, Marillion and Steve Hackett of Genesis. In 2017, they played shows in Japan and Canada followed by a big European tour. Vincent then went on to record the albums “Men Who Climb Mountains, “The World” and later on, “Love Over Fear”, which became Amazon’s Best Selling Album for a week, spent 3 months in the Top 10 Official Progressive Charts and was number 4 in the Best Album Category in the 2020 Prog Reader’s Poll.
Whilst playing with PIG, they performed several UK headline shows, a month long headline tour in the U.S. and supported Killing Joke in 2018.
Vincent also worked with world-renowned guitar virtuoso, Gus G, who is best known as the guitarist of Ozzy Osbourne. They recorded the album “Quantum Leap” which reached #7 in the Official Album Charts in Greece, #4 on iTunes Charts in the US and #26 in the US Hard Music Charts. It also landed the #2 spot in the Best Guitar Albums of 2021 by Guitar World.
Vincent’s dedication to drumming combined with his adaptable personality and professionalism has made him a very respected drummer in the Rock, Metal and Progressive scene globally.
