The Reference One 20-ply Snare Drum makes a stunning addition to any power-primed set-up.

Primed for live performance as well as recording, its tonal foundation is a staggeringly thick 20-ply blended Maple (14) Birch (6) shell with 45-degree bearing edges. This power-centered shell recipe produces focused volume and power with no loss in sensitivity or articulation.

Featuring MasterCast die-cast hoops for increased volume and minimal contact STL single swivel lugs for tuning articulation, the hardware selection on each Reference One 20-ply snare is configured to augment the unique tonal character of its impressive shell. Our patented SR1000 Glide-Lock snare strainer's locking switch keeps the Ultra-Sound "I" type snare wires engaged at any tension, for increased sensitivity, sizzle, and focus.
