The timbao is a Brazilian conga-type drum made from lightweight fiberglass, and is capable of the extremely high tension utilized in tradition Brazilian ensembles.

These tunable pandeiros have lightweight hardwood shells and flush rims with hook style tension rods. Each set of platinellas (jingles) include a traditional flat disc, giving the drums an authentic “chuck” sound. Both include a nylon carrying bag.
