Overview

He started his career as a drummer for LUNA SEA one of the leading rock bands in Japan. He has expanded his possibilities as a drummer, such as releasing a CD with the unit "POTBELLY" formed from the female vocal audition, and pursuing traditional instruments such as Japanese drums (Wadaiko) that he has been familiar with since childhood. Also, he has been doing live performances and tours of many artists such as Maki Ohguro, Koji Kikkawa, Kyosuke Himuro, Nanase Aikawa, Kohei Otomo, Kinniku Shojo Tai, TOSHI (X JAPAN), YELLOW FRIED CHICKENz, L.MC, etc. Participated in recording.

 

In 2010, LUNA SEA resumed their activities, and currently he works as a drummer of LUNA SEA mainly.

 

In 2019, LUNA SEA celebrated its 30th anniversary, and has been actively working on the theme song for NHK "Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN" and performing 2 days at Budokan and 2 days at Saitama Super Arena.

 

In addition to his music activities, he is active in various media making use of his well speaking skills. He furthermore said, "I want to make people smile. Everything I do comes back to the drums." active in various scene.
