As an educator in the marching and concert percussion idiom, David has been teaching and composing/arranging for over fifteen years. During this time he has worked with groups such as the 2-time WGI World Chanpion, Center Grove High School, the 7-time DCI World Champion Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps, and is currently on the percussion staff for the 7-time DCI World Champion, The Cavaliers.

David is a performing member and contributing composer of the Seattle Percussive Arts Ensemble. His compositions and arrangements, some of which are available through TapSpace Publications, have been performed throughout the U.S. and Japan.

David is an artist and clinician for Pearl Drums and Innovative Percussion. He resides in Seattle, WA with his wife, Krista and son, Benjamin.
