Overview

Kayleigh Moyer is a Session and Live Percussionist/Drum Kit player and Clinician based in Nashville, TN.

When she is not on the road playing for breakout country and pop stars and innovative string groups, Kayleigh works as a session player and instructor out of many revered Nashville recording studios, as well as her own state-of-the-art home studio.

To shed a light on her recent studio experience, Kayleigh has had the pleasure of working with legendary producers Glenn Rosenstein (U2, Madonna, Talking Heads) and David Kalmusky (Journey, Shawn Mendes, Keith Urban) out of legendary studios Addiction Sound and Ocean Way Nashville.

Kayleigh is featured playing marching snare on ESPN College Gameday’s intro song alongside country legends Big & Rich, aired weekly across ESPN and ESPNU. She has recorded videos with Post Modern Jukebox and completed a two-year world tour with Barrage 8, where she was also named Courtesy Faculty and Artist in Residence at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Kayleigh’s performance alongside Keith Urban at the CMT Artists of the Year 2015 Live TV Awards show was nominated for CMT's Performance of the Year.

Kayleigh has performed at the Grand Ole Opry multiple times with country artist Ashley Clark and recently finished a tour with breakout Pop Artist Whitney Woerz, opening up for Jesse McCartney and is still traveling/performing as a part of Whitney's band.

Kayleigh’s passion for percussion was on full display when she traveled to China with the Hollywood Film Music Orchestra for the Nanjing Forest Festival in October 2017. She performed 2 hours of film music with a 45-piece orchestra under the direction of Erik Ochsner and moved between drum kit and the classical percussion section from piece to piece.

Kayleigh is currently working with the innovative group Reignite, where electric strings are featured alongside drums, pioneering a new sound and immersive live experience. The release of a Symphonic Film where visuals strengthen the meaning behind the live soundtrack is expected to tour in Fall 2021.

Kayleigh graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelors in Commercial Music Percussion with an emphasis in Performance in the Spring of 2015. While there, Kayleigh was awarded the Freshman of the Year, Sophomore of the Year, and Junior of the Year Award, as well as the Percussive Arts Society scholarship dedicated to iconic Nashville drummer Larrie Londin.
