Showkorpsen Irene Ede is a renowned Dutch music and performance association based in Ede that celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2024. Founded in 1949, the organization commemorated this milestone with a significant reunion and jubilee celebration.

The Showband, our flagship ensemble, comprises 50–60 members with an average age of 22. Known for captivating performances, the Showband's diverse repertoire features contemporary and recognizable self-arranged pieces. Notable achievements include:

* Achieving 89.96 points in the Champions Division at the 2022 World Music Contest (WMC) in Kerkrade with their show "Torn Together," placing them among Europe's top showbands.

* Winning the World Championship at the World Association of Marching Show Bands (WAMSB) competition in Rastede, Germany, with their "Queen of Egypt" performance, scoring 92.8 points.

From humble beginnings, Irene Ede has grown into a comprehensive organization encompassing the Showband, Youth Showband, Iren3 (a party band), and MusicKids, a children's musical training program. We remain deeply committed to our local community, fostering musical talent and providing entertainment both domestically and internationally. Our commitment to musical education through MusicKids and the Youth Showband ensures the continuation of our legacy.
