Overview
Danique Kos (1998) started playing percussion at the age of seven, being inspired by the Dutch girls group Treble. She's had lessons at the Conservatory of The Hague for over three years, and joined many workshops. The young percussionist developed and expanded her musicality and specialized her skills. By playing with many different artists, she got acquainted with different styles of music. Danique studied with masters from the Benelux, Martin Verdonk and Eddie Conard, where Eddie has coached her for many years.
Now she is a loved artist who is playing in different bands and formations. Danique is a percussionist at the artist agencies: Lovesound and ‘Dutch Dance Divas’ (Dames Draaien Door) where she plays along with DJs and instrumentalists. In Germany and international she is bookable at ‘BB MusicBookings’
Danique played as a percussionist in the Stage Entertainment musical ‘On Your Feet’ of Gloria Estefan at the Beatrix Theater Utrecht. Since September 2018 she is playing in ‘Mamma Mia!’.
Danique can be booked in collaboration with DJ’s, as an artist in bands, for studio sessions, productions, and workshops. She is known for her energetic and dynamic performances with passionate rhythms. For more information see contact page. Recently Danique can also be booked as an MC.
