The TomBourine may look like a normal 10” headed tambourine, but it is far from it. It comes with Pearl’s exclusive Quick Draw mount, which allows it to convert from mounted to handheld in seconds. Accessorize your percussion rig, or add it next to a tom-toms on your drum set. Our 10” head can easily take the abuse of sticks or brushes, and offers a unique “tom” sound with a hint of jingles for a unique effect.  

The Pearl nylon tongue drum travel bag is padded on top, bottom and sides to fully protect your tongue drum. The bag includes a zippered 7.5" x 6" pouch on the side for your personal items. Throw the bag over your shoulder with the shoulder strap or carry by hand with the rubber handle.

Tongues drums derive their name from the tongue shaped areas where you strike the drum. The results are a cosmic blend of tones that are as much fun to hear as play. Pearl offers three 8 note and three 9 note drums tuned to pentatonic scales.

Pearl's Top Tuned PVC Ashikos are constructed using PVC for its light and durable characteristics and also for its warm, round, full-body sound. The origin of Ashiko drums can be traced back to West Africa and the Yoruba tribe. The Ashiko is a close relative to the djembe and its sound is complementary to the djembe when played together in drum circles or ensembles. The long tapered cylinder of the Ashiko produces lower bass notes than djembes, with rich mid-tones. The 1-piece PVC shell features 6 tuning lugs with a tuning wrench and a 10" tucked collar synthetic head. Standing 22" tall, ideal for the seated player, the shell includes a rubber bottom edge protector.

Djembes produce a wide range of sounds and are ideal as a solo instrument or as part of a large percussion ensemble or drum circle. Pearl’s Top Tune Djembe series includes four different size drums; 8”, 10”, 12”, and 14” with the smaller drums delivering a higher pitch that cuts through and the larger sizes producing a thunderous low-end punch. The patented seamless synthetic shells are available in four dynamic hand-painted finishes with synthetic heads. Pearl’s top tuning mechanism simplifies the tuning process and makes changing heads a breeze.

The Pearl Toy Box Case combines the functionality of a trap table with an instrument case. This item is perfect for the gigging percussionist with lots of toys - the 12" x 12" x 6" case provides plenty of room for many small percussion instruments.

The lid, lined with padded material will attach to any cymbal stand with the included adapter and becomes a secure 12" x 12" trap table with raised edges. Aluminum reinforcement is included along all edges of the tray. The adapter goes in its own pouch which can easily be stored within the case for transport.
