Pearl Corporation announces a series of signature congas and bongos from artist Jesus Diaz. The Cuban born Diaz is one of the most in demand percussionists and vocalists on the scene today. His active schedule inspired the feature set for his new signature series.
 

The 7” and 8.5” bongos deliver cutting clarity and feature the same Quick Release lug design. The Quinto, Conga, Tumba and Bongos are finished in a matte lacquer titled Brushed Platinum #580 and feature natural buffalo skin heads.

Crafted from select Thai Oak, the Macho and Hembra shells deliver a rich, dynamic sound with excellent balance and projection. A fiberglass inner coating enhances clarity and definition, producing articulate overtones that cut through both live and studio settings. The reduced center block width allows for tighter, more ergonomic drum placement, improving overall playing comfort and control.

Traditional chrome hardware offers a classic appearance with reliable durability, while Quick Release Lugs make tuning adjustments and head replacement fast and effortless. Each drum is fitted with hand-selected premium buffalo skins, chosen for consistency in feel, response, and tonal character.

Finished in a striking Deep Blue with Coral Red stripes, the Jesús Díaz Signature Series Bongos combine traditional craftsmanship with modern performance features—perfect for serious players seeking expressive sound and refined playability. 

Matching 11", 11.75", 12.5", & 14" congas are also available. 

The Pearl Jingle Cajon features 2 sets of adjustable jingles on the faceplate. A set of Brazilian platinela and stainless steel tambourine jingles make up the sets. The cajon can be played with the jingles turned on or off and anywhere in between. The Jingle Cajon features a fiberglass body and hardwood faceplate with three sets of fixed snares.
