In 2011 Pearl introduced the original Travel Congas and the portability of congas was changed forever. Rather than the traditional 28” height of a conga, Pearl’s Travel Congas features 3.5” deep wood shells that deliver maximum portability and sound. Like traditional congas they utilize stave construction and feature real size Quinto (11"), Conga (11.75") and Tumba (12.5") heads. Tuning the Remo Symmetry heads is effortless with five precision Allen tuning bolts and the included wrench. The shell is finished in #510 Caramel Brown.Matching Travel Bongos are also available.

Where can you take your Travel Bongos and Congas? Anywhere you can take traditional size drums but without any of the hassle. The 7” and 8.5” Travel Bongos feature 3.5” Thai Oak shells with Remo Fiberskyn heads and three point tuning. The Travel Bongos include a foam-handle tuning wrench that makes tuning a breeze. They may be small in size but they pack all the cut and clarity of full size bongos.

The body of these Primero cajons is constructed using MDF, Medium-density Fiberboard which creates a solid and durable sound chamber. A built in bass port magnifies the massive low-end tone of the cajon while two sets of fixed snare wires provide a bright, crisp snare response. Each of these Primero cajons feature a look as distinctive as the percussionist who play them.
