Drawing from the very origins of Pearl's drum manufacturing history, Phenolic shells were created for increased consistency, refined note clarity, higher volume, and better resistance to climate than the wood shells of the day. The Anniversary Edition 14"x5.5" snare captures the tone and sound that made President Series so collectible, with re-cast, updated components.
SR-017 Strainer
This quick, simple strainer delivers effortless switching and optimum sensitivity control. The added SR-150E Cast Butt Plate gives added security to your wire settings during active play.
Internal Muffler
Dial in the perfect amount of sustain with the IM-100PHC Internal Muffler. Its robust tension dial and multi-layered felt dampening pad allows head contact under the batter from the slightest touch to full contact, for a wide range of tonal combinations.
