Get started with the Primero Box Cajon. The body is constructed from Asiatic Pine and the face plate is Rubberwood. Rubberwood comes from the Para rubber tree and is very environmentally friendly. Rubberwood is light-colored, medium-density tropical hardwood perfect for cajons. It produces a rich warm tone that is complimented by the crisp snare response. The Primero Box Cajon features two sets of fixed snare wires for Spanish Flamenco-style sound.

This fiberglass constructed cajon features a textured playing surfaces which speak remarkably well with brushes and other implements. The front and sides of the cajon feature large, black textured area which fade to a smooth feel towards the top of the cajon. The Brush Beat Cajon is patterned after Pearl’s Boom Box Cajon, and features a fixed-snare system, as well as a built-in bass port that magnifies the cajon’s subsonic frequencies for a dynamic low-end sonority.
