Overview
Léo Luyckx is a drummer from Brussels, Belgium, born on March 25, 1996. He began playing drums at the age of 7, developing his skills as a self-taught musician. He started his journey into the metal scene at 15 by recording his first album, which led to early opportunities as a live and studio stand-in for several bands. These experiences quickly brought him on tour across Europe, including support slots for acts like Pro-Pain.
He later became a member of Brutal Sphincter, allowing him to perform at some of the most renowned metal festivals such as Hellfest, Metal Days, and Motocultor. In recent years, he joined the internationally recognized slamming brutal death metal band Analepsy, with whom he played at several renowned Festivals and completed a headlining tour across the United States.
While rooted in extreme metal, Léo enjoys exploring other musical styles and collaborates regularly with artists in pop and alternative genres.
