Overview

Born in İstanbul, Soner Doğanca started playing drums in 1986 and started his professional music career with Turkish rock band, Acil Servis in 1992. Throughout his career, he gave drum lessons at prestigious schools in Turkey such as Boğaziçi University, Pera Fine Arts High School and Jokerstore, and played in countless concerts, bar gigs, and albums with many valuable Turkish bands and artists. His performances are mainly in rock, blues and funk genres and his style of drumming is also influenced by jazz-fusion genre and Anatolian rhythms.

Currently, he continues his stage/recording works with Acil Servis, Batu Mutlugil Band, Göksenin, Demirhan Baylan Trio, and his drum lessons in his own studio.

Some notable artists he has worked with: Bertuğ Cemil, Yavuz Çetin, Ayna, Feridun Düzağaç, Mehmet Güreli, Levent Yüksel, Acaipademler, Murat Çelik, Kurtalan Ekspres, Yavuzcan Çetin, Ferhat Göçer, Ergin Kandemir Band, Midas, Bluesaint Blues Band, Fötr Blues Band, Moe Joe Blues Band, Garage Band, Goygoy, Berkant Taşkıran.
