Being part of the Pearl Internship Program has been one of the most fulfilling and inspiring experiences of my life. I wrote for the monthly Pearl Artist newsletter and helped shape email campaigns aimed at educators and band directors. I built an interactive kiosk app that let visitors at the Music City Drum Show explore snare configurations by bearing edge, shell wood, and size, and I helped build out Pearl's education website. I even got to visit drum shops across Nashville and into Kentucky to see firsthand how Pearl maintains its relationships with dealers.

To echo what every other intern has said, the people and the community here are second to none. Every day was a blast, getting to use both my creativity and my technical skills to build things my coworkers and the company could actually use. I am grateful to have worked with a team that took my ideas seriously and let me run with them. The Pearl staff made me feel like family from the start, and I leave with strong connections inside the company and across the music industry.

This summer confirmed that I want to build a career in the music industry, and gave me the confidence that I can. Thank you to the entire Pearl team for the mentorship, the fun times, and a summer I will never forget.
