Thomas Geysen, also known as T.Modell, is a drummer, producer and artist with a distinctive sound and a clear creative vision. He is known for a powerful and energetic playing style where technical precision meets creative freedom.

 

His work moves between electronic and acoustic music, drawing from drum and bass, breaks, garage, dub, jazz, afro, beats, pop, hip hop, rock and beyond. By combining live drumming with electronic music production, Thomas creates performances that feel both organic and forward thinking.

 

As a freelance drummer, Thomas is involved in a wide range of progressive projects, including KRANKk, Martha Da’Ro, Cellini, Niels Orens and his own Modell Jazzgroup. Through these projects, he has performed on respected festival stages and venues such as Pukkelpop, Dour, AFAS Dome, Ziggo Dome, AB Main Hall and Club, Love Tomorrow, Tomorrowland Core, Les Ardentes, Couleur Café, Rampage, Lokerse Feesten, Transumare, Ypsigrock, ADE Amsterdam and Eurosonic.

 

His performances are defined by intense energy and a seamless integration of electronic elements with live drums.

 

With KRANKk, Thomas has contributed to innovative audiovisual concert concepts such as GENESIS 360° and RESET, bringing together music, technology and immersive live experiences. He is also committed to supporting inclusivity within music.

 

Thomas holds a master’s degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. Over the years, he has worked with respected artists including Selah Sue, Raggatwins, A-F-R-O, Oscar and the Wolf, Roméo Elvis, Coely, Manga Saint-Hilare, Coco, Splurgeboys, Porcelain and Mad Hed City.

 

His broad musical background and international experience form the foundation of his versatility as a drummer. Thomas continues to travel, collaborate and create with artists from around the world. His goal remains simple but meaningful: to play music, connect people and keep pushing his artistic language forward.
