Samuli was born 1983 and started his drumming career at the age of nine. At the beginning Samuli did not have a drumset of his own. Samuli is a left-handed drummer so playing with right-handed drumsets was hard. Later Samuli was able to buy his own drumset, a Pearl Export. As a teenager he got into death metal, black metal, grindcore and hardcore and started to make gigs and demos. In the year 2005 Samuli joined in Finland´s death groovers Profane Omen. Profane Omen was nominated as the “Newcomer of the year 2006” at the Finnish Metal Awards. After that they have played hundreds of gigs and festivals in Europe.
