Brett "B Dubb" Baker, born in Chester, PA and raised in Southern New Jersey, currently resides in Wilmington, DE.

Though many artists/musicians love music, few of them exemplify the deep-rooted devotion that "B Dubb" continues to demonstrate each day. It is without a doubt that if one examined the cellular make up of his blood, that surely music notes would be found dancing in his DNA. Music pumps through his veins like blood and has been second nature to him since the age of five. As a young child, Brett was fascinated with the sounds that instruments made and the very sensation that would flow through his soul when he heard good music. Brett’s passion for music became a labor of love, as his mission is to give music what it has been missing for so long: realness, honesty, and authenticity.

Brett has expressed his zeal for music over the years, having worked with artists such as Vivian Green, Glenn Lewis, Jamie Hawkins, and Kelly Price. In all of these endeavors, Baker remains true to music and what it means to him. Baker has played for Multi-Platinum Atlantic Record recording artist Musiq Soulchild as the percussionist/vocal hype man. He had been with Musiq Soulchild for almost 4 years before being promoted to the next level of his craft. He currently plays for Multi-platinum, world renown, Sean "Jay-Z" Carter. Since being on board with Jay-Z, Brett has had the great opportunity to play for many artists at the top of the music game today, such as Beyonce’, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Eminem, Lil Wayne, and T.I.

Not only is "B Dubb" a percussionist to the core, he is a producer/song writer/artist and simply just a guy who loves to create music. With musical influences like Earth, Wind, and Fire, Stevie Wonder to Eric B. and Rakim, Public Enemy, John Mayer, Jill Scott and Africa Bambaataa, there was no way that "B Dubb" could keep his talent and inspiration to himself. In 2001 Collaborative Music Group LLC was born with the concept of creating a venue to express authentic music as food for the body, mind, and soul. As founder and co-owner of CMG, Baker works with performers of various talent levels. Baker creates his own music playing a host of instruments. The fact that he continues to make a name for himself in the areas of Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk, etc. is a true testament to his commitment to the musical arts.

 "B Dubb" worked with renowned singer/songwriter Eric Roberson on his latest venture Music Fan First, producing and receiving placement for nine songs, and making the Billboard charts Top 100 in two categories. B Dubb continues to inspire listeners with tracks that move your feet and bob your heads.
