プロフィール
Todd Lane hails from the Rock 'n' Roll capital of the world, Cleveland, Ohio. With the sound of late-'70s hard rock blaring at him from all quarters, Todd's purpose in life became apparent when he found himself pounding the skins in local clubs as a junior high school student.
In 1984, at age seventeen, Todd took the plunge and moved to Los Angeles with his band Haven, immediately making a mark on the Hollywood hard rock scene, building a huge following, releasing an album and going on to mount a European tour in 1986. Eventually, Haven morphed into New Haven, and the group's brand of pop-infused hard rock earned them a development deal with Atlantic Records and drew sellout crowds at LA clubs for the better part of five years.
Throughout the 1990s, Todd became the consummate Hollywood drummer, playing on several movie soundtracks and coaching actors for drumming sequences in a number of films. He even appeared onscreen in the classic "Bikini Car Wash II." The latter part of the decade found Todd lending his drumming talents to a variety of band projects, including Liquid Vision and Drag Strip Riot with Joey Allen of Warrant, Rich Ezra, and Swedish artist Anna Sahlene's "Photograph".
Todd is a lifelong Pearl player and still has the orange Wood Fiberglass drumset he got in 1979. And guess what...they still sound killer!
