Tom Tucker is the Director of Bands and the Percussion Director at Forsyth Central High School in Cumming, GA. During his tenure, the Forsyth Central Drumline has been a 7 time Scholastic World Finalist at the WGI Percussion World Championships. The group was also a Scholastic Open Finalist prior to that. Forsyth Central High School made finals in 2017 and 2018 in the WGI Winds Championship and in 2017, was the Silver Medalist in Scholastic A class. The Forsyth Central "Flash of Crimson" Marching Band has been a BOA Grand Nationals Semi-Finalist as well as being a Finalist at BOA Regionals and Super-Regionals. Tom was the Front Ensemble Co-Arranger and Percussion Consultant for the 2009 and the 2010 Colts Drum and Bugle Corps from Dubuque, IA and is an alumni of the Corps. Most recently, the Forsyth Central Winds group won the Scholastic A Silver Medal at the 2017 WGI World Championships.

Tom graduated from the University of North Alabama with a degree in Music Education. He went on to complete his Masters degree through Lesley University in Educational Technology. Along with his work at Forsyth Central, Tom is in demand as an arranger, judge, consultant, and clinician for percussion programs in the Atlanta area and is an Education Artist for Pro-Mark Sticks and Mallets, Evans Drumheads and Pearl Drums/Adams Musical Instruments.

Tom resides in Canton, GA, with his beautiful wife, Heather, and his son, Brant.
