Overview
Born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois, Alex Bailey did not come from a musical family, but music was always in the air, from Stevie Wonder and Talking Heads to Queen, Yes, and The Beatles. He started playing drums at 13 and quickly found his voice behind the kit. That passion led him to Berklee College of Music, where a friendly battle of the bands introduced him to the musicians who would become his bandmates in Eggy.
Since then, Alex has toured across the country and performed at major festivals including Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and Red Rocks. Known for his dynamic feel, deep sense of groove, and inventive approach to rhythm, Alex brings energy and emotion to every performance.
