Interning at Pearl was an absolutely one-of-a-kind experience. I am so grateful I got the opportunity to work alongside and learn from the amazing team here in Nashville for this short but exceptionally rewarding period of time. The first drum I ever played on was Pearl, and getting to explore the inner-workings of a company that has seen me through my entire career as a musician was such a full-circle moment. This summer was the perfect culmination of my passions for percussion, marketing, and music, and I could not have asked for a better internship.
Whether it be marketing, artist relations, event logistics, social media, or product management & development, I worked on key projects in almost every department at Pearl. With the diverse variety of tasks and hands-on work always available, there was never a dull day at the office. Through these experiences, I learned countless valuable skills that I will proudly carry with me moving forward.
I will always look back on my internship at Pearl with great fondness and appreciation. This experience was the most rewarding and educational ten weeks of my life and has prepared me for my future in more ways than I can express. The incredibly kind and welcoming people are what make Pearl the impactful company that it is today, and the connections I forged this summer will be connections I have for the rest of my career.
