Rich Carlson
Regional Drumset Artist - United States

*Donotes influential regional endorser.

My hard-hitting, aggressive style of playing began at age 14 while growing up in the S.F. Bay area. By the age of 18, I was already playing the Bay area club scene, and by my early twenties, I was already a seasoned pro, opening for and sharing the stage with big name acts such as Blue Oyster Cult, Pat Benatar, and Y&T. I'm proud to say that my talent was even recognized by Ozzy Osbourne himself, when after auditioning for him, I was called back for multiple runs.

In the mid eighties, I relocated to Colorado and joined the band "G-Force", blazing through clubs in several states, until we renamed to "Autobahn" and moved to Hollywood. Eventually, needing to turn it up a notch, I joined "Badd Boyz", a band consisting of great talents such as Paul Shortino ("Rough Cut" and Quiet Riot"), Mitch Perry (Cher and MSG) and Sean McNabb (Great White).

After a great run playing with some very talented people, I decided to relocate back to Denver, where , in addition to playing and recording, I now teach my "in your face" stylings to other drum hopefuls. I have at least 35+ students per week, and I enjoy the one on one interaction with students of all ages and talent levels.
