Brice Williams

Overview

Born and raised in Marion Illinois, Brice got his first drum set at the age of 4. He participated in various musical ensembles in junior high and high school. Brice moved on after high school to study music at Nashville's premiere music school, Belmont University. While at Belmont, he participated in Belmont's country ensemble Southbound and both Jazz small groups and Belmont's prestigious Big Band. During this time Brice studied under Todd London, as well as one of his childhood idols, Chester Thompson.

After college, he played with several local jazz artists and a number of major country artists including Kevin Sharp, Sawyer Brown, Brian McComas, Luke Bryan, Lionel Cartwright, Linda Davis, and Sara Evans. In the summer of 2006, Brice began playing with three singer/songwriter musicians. The trio goes by the name of Lady Antebellum. For the last two years, Brice has been the driving force behind the Lady A both live and on their debut album which recently debuted at #1 on Billboard's Country Album Charts and #4 on the Pop Album Charts.
