Planet of the Abts Returns with Sophomore Album
Planet of the Abts- the Los Angeles based trio featuring, Pearl Artist, Matt Abts- have announced the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, All Things the Valley, which will hit the shelves this June! Featuring his Govt’ Mule rhythm section counterparts- bassist, Jorgen Carlsson and guitarist/vocalist, T-Bone Anderson- Planet of the Abts turn to their three decades of writing and recording experience together to form a brilliantly raw and thrilling blend of blues, rock, and pop. All Things the Valley will be available worldwide on double vinyl, CD, and through all digital formats. The first single from the new album, “Down for the Count” can be heard below.
In support of All Things the Valley, Matt Abts and Planet of the Abts will be hitting the road with extensive tour plans currently being scheduled for both that East and West Coasts, the Pacific NW, and Vancouver, Canada during the summer months, along with international tour plans being scheduled for the fall. For these dates, Matt will once again rely upon his custom Session Studio Classic drums and go-to 14x6.5 Masters MCX snare drum.
