Andreas Göschl was born in 1988 and always showed interest in drumming, even as a little boy. He then played on a set of chairs, pots and cooking spoons from grandma´s kitchen. He got his first real lessons at the age of seven. One of his teachers was Aaron Thier, a well known international drummer.

Things got really started when Andreas got to know his new teacher Bernd Lanner. Lanner´s persistence and versatility when teaching improved Andreas’ abilities in drumming and music.

As he learned a lot of classical music during that periode, Andreas played some concerts with different orchestras in well known concert halls in Vienna. When he toured China in 2003/04 with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Vienna they played in the biggest concert halls of China.

Andreas started to study Jazz and Pop drumming at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt with rhythm coach Richard Filz and promoted diploma in instrumental education and concert artist.

Andreas Göschl formed his own Jazz-Trio „Andreas Göschl-Trio“, with whom he plays many concerts all over Europe.

Since 2012 Andreas is award winner of the Austrian Music Talent Scholarship. Andreas is now drum teacher in the “college of music Frauenkirchen - Musikschulwerk Burgenland”, clinician, session drummer and drummer in several bands. He also works as a studio drummer for some well known artists.

2012 - award winner of the Austrian Music Talent Scholarship
