The elegantly simple innovation creates a "Tension Rod-within-a-Tension Rod." The included drum key features a floating Hex Key in the center that actuates a rod expander in the center of the tension rod.
When the Hex rod is tightened, the main rod expands, locking into place within the swivel nut.
