Overview
Ra Tache is a Spanish-Brazilian session drummer, producer, and composer. She has played and toured with several rock/metal bands, including WildFreedom, Th3 Climb, Agelical Yell, and Ankor. Currently, she is playing drums for Megara, a rock band from Madrid, with whom she is touring their latest album, and also for other Spanish pop artists.
Born in Ponta Grossa, Brazil, she became involved in music at an early age. When she was 6, she taught herself to play the piano and later learned to play the guitar. With an innate ability for music and a very good ear, she discovered that she could play rhythms on drums, once again teaching herself.
For La Tache, the best part of being a drummer is the energy and creativity she can express on a drum kit. Her advice to young players aspiring to make it in the industry is simple: have fun and listen to all kinds of music.
When asked about her favorite aspect of playing Pearl Drums, La Tache expressed admiration for the smooth pedals, the tone of the kick and toms, the powerful snare sound, and the high-quality hardware.
