Drummer Kris Myers and Pearl Percussionist Andy Farag have been together in Umphrey's McGee since their 2003 live CD "Local Band Does OKlahoma".

Andy Farag explains "I have been using Pearl hardware for three years now and have played close to 400 shows with it.... I can't say enough about it. All of the hardware has withstood the riggers of the road, being setup and broken down almost every day. My rig still works as solid as it did three years ago and that makes my life a lot easier on the road knowing that I can depend on it. The Gyro Lock Tilter lets me adjust my cymbals easily and effortlessly which lets me focus on other things like "playing" a show. I have seen so many drummers messing with their cymbal stands during a performance trying to get that right position. Being able to infinitely move the Gyro Lock Tilter 360 degrees lets me quickly move it the position I want. Also, the WL200 Winglocs make tear down so easy. It's all these little conveniences coming together that make me feel confident when I go out on stage. I'm sure everything will work the way it's supposed to.... I could never see myself using any other kind of hardware."
