Trivium Returns with 'Vengeance Fails'

Trivium is back!!  After what seemed like an endless time away from the stage, American metalers, Trivium have announced their return to home-soil this fall for a lengthy headlining tour that seems well overdue.  Kicking off on September 12th at the Knitting Factory Concert House in Boise, Idaho, Trivium will wind their way around the US and Canada for 5-weeks, bringing their hard-hitting and heavy sound to 28 select cities before coming to a close at SOMA in San Diego, CA, on October 17th.  This lengthy excursion comes in support of Trivium’s upcoming album, Vengeance Fails, which is scheduled to be released this upcoming October, courtesy of Roadrunner Records.
After spending the early portion of 2013 in the writing and recording process, Trivium is gearing up to hit the road hard throughout the remainder of the year and beyond, bringing along a fresh new batch of metal masterpieces that are guaranteed to keep the mosh-pits circling.  Vengeance Fails marks the second album featuring, Pearl artist, Nick Augusto, who made his introduction into the metal world through the recording and world tours supporting Trivium’s 2011 studio effort, In Waves, which is touted by many as the band’s finest material to date.  Nick’s blistering speed around the kit have made him a perfect fit with Trivium, accenting their high-tempo and adrenaline-fueling sound with his quick feet and technical drum fills.  On this upcoming North America trek Nick will be sitting behind a set of Masterworks Series drums, Pearl’s completely customizable drum series, which Nick chose to have finished in Piano Black lacquer and outfitted with black hardware.  In check with Trivium’s heavy sound, Nick turned to the warm, resonant, and rich tones of a 4-ply, all-maple shell throughout his rack toms and floor toms, with added 4-ply reinforcement hoop in both bass drums.  Nick’s full specs are as follow:

Masterworks Series:
Piano Black w/ black hardware
*4-ply maple shells w/ reinforcement hoops

10x8- rack tom**
