The Drummers of the Music as a Weapon Tour

Recently, The Music as a Weapon Tour, featuring Disturbed, Korn, and Sevendust, rolled their way through Nashville, Tennessee, bringing their electrifying live show to a packed house at the Bridgestone Arena. Having 3 of rock’s biggest acts on the same bill and sharing the same stage each night has caused a major stir in the music world, making the 2011 Music as a Weapon Tour the hottest concert ticket and most in-demand, must-see, live event of the early new year. While winding its way around the country, and during their stop at the in Nashville, Pearl artists, Mike Wengren (Disturbed), Ray Luzier (Korn), and Morgan Rose (Sevendust) stopped by the Pearl headquarters to pay a visit to the Pearl family, and take some time to discuss the tour, and about their respective and latest releases on which they are campaigning. On August 31st, 2010, Disturbed released their 5th studio album titled, “Asylum”. With chart topping singles and Disturbed’s devoted fan base, Asylum debuted as the No. 1 album on the Billboard Top 200 chart, as well as No. 1 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums, Top Alternative Albums, and Top Hard Rock Albums. Since its release, Mike Wengren, and Disturbed have headlined the inaugural Rockstar Uproar Tour, and is scheduled to headline the 2011 Mayhem Festival after their co-headlining run on the current Music As A Weapon Tour. Ray Luzier and Korn are currently kicking off 2011 in typical Korn fashion. With their 2010 release of “Korn III: Remember Who you Are”, Korn has spent the last year headlining the 2010 Mayhem Festival, as well as the 2010 Jagermeister Tour and the Ballroom Blitz Tour. With “Korn III: Remember Who You Are”, becoming an instant classic, as well as a major mainstream success, Korn earned themselves a Grammy Nomination for their second single off the album, “Let The Guilt Go”. The April 2010 release, “Cold Day Memory”, from Atlanta rockers, Sevendust, has continued along the traditional heavy hitting, high impact, explosive sound that hardcore Sevendust fans constantly crave. With chart scorching singles, “Unraveling”, and, “Forever”, becoming seemingly permanent fixtures on the rock charts, Morgan Rose, and Sevendust, launched into their most successful year to date, granting themselves a much deserved spot on the 2010 Carnival of Madness Tour alongside Shinedown, Chevelle, and 10 Years.
