Shinedown Premier “State of My Head”

Hard rock heroes, Shinedown, have released their official video for the single, “State of My Head”, which can be viewed below.  This stellar new single is featured on Shinedown’s new and fifth studio album, Threat to Survival, which was released this last September courtesy of Atlantic Records.  “State of My Head” has quickly climbed up the charts and currently resides at the No. 10 position on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Charts and follows the band’s lead single and former No. 1 single, “Cut the Cord”.  Along with the release of the video for “State of My Head”, Shinedown states:

"State of My Head" is a celebration of originality.  It is a song about being truly proud of who you are and the people you call your family and friends.

It is unlike anything we have ever written, for a reason and a purpose...because it needed to heard...because it is the renaissance of rock 'n roll...AND THAT is the, "State of My, State of My, State Of My Head".

As seen in this video, and on Shinedown’s recent co-headlining tour alongside fellow Pearl Artist Shawn Foist and Breaking Benjamin, Pearl's own Barry Kerch, was slamming away on his new Reference Series drum set, configured in his signature 1-up, 2-down, 2-bass drum setup and finished in a custom Pewter Abalone wrap.  Barry’s custom Reference Series kit is centered by a 14x6.5 Hybrid Exotic Vectorcast snare drum, and driven by Pearl’s highly innovative Demon Drive pedals. More information on Barry Kerch can be found here.
