Shinedown’s “Cut the Cord” Tops the Charts

Rock icons, Shinedown, have recaptured their rightful spot atop the Rock Charts, taking over the No. 1 position with their latest single, “Cut the Cord”.  This chart-topping track serves as the band’s debut single from their forthcoming and recently announced new album, Threat to Survival, which is scheduled to hit the shelves on September 18th courtesy of Atlantic Records.  Threat to Survival is currently available for pre-order here.

Shinedown is currently finishing up their 2015 summer tour, which kicked off in early-July, and will be wrapping up this weekend at the Jackson County Fair, in Jackson, MI, on August 9th.  Barry Kerch and his fellow Shinedown band-mates will be closing out the year with a handful of select one-off performances which can be found below.

Pearl Artist, Barry Kerch will be turning to his Reference Pure drums for Shinedown’s remaining 2015 tour dates, finished in a custom Red Sparkle lacquer with haloflake accents, and topped with a 14x6.5 Sensitone Premium Beaded Brass snare drum.  More information on Barry, including full specs on his Reference Pure kit, can be found here.
