Pop Evil Release First Episode of In Studio Web Series
Michigan based rockers, Pop Evil,- who features, Pearl Artist, Josh “Chachi” Marunde- have taken their hard-hitting sound into London Bridge Studio in Seattle, WA to record their fourth studio album, bringing along with them a camera crew to document the experience for an in-studio web series titled, “The Making of PEIV”. The first episode of the series, which can be viewed below, was released earlier this week on the band’s official YouTube Channel and includes interviews from each member of the band, along with offering fans a few brief teasers of what their new music will sound like. This upcoming album, which has been temporarily dubbed “PEIV” by the band, is expected to hit the shelves later this year, serving as the follow up to their 2013 release, Onyx, which hosted the No. 1 hit singles “Trenches”, and “Deal with the Devil”.
Leading up to the release of the new album, Josh Marunde and Pop Evil will be playing a handful of festival dates throughout the North America and Europe, including such events as The Download Festival, Graspop, and Rock Fest. For these dates, Josh will be turning to the thunderous tones of his custom Session Studio Classic drums, finished in Arctic White (109), and topped with his preferred 14x6.5 Sensitone Elite Brass snare drum. More information on Josh “Chachi” Marunde, including full specs on his Session Studio Classic drums, can be found here.
