Pearl Welcomes Riverside Community College

Nashville, TN - The Riverside City College Marching Tigers kick off 2010 by choosing Pearl Drums and Adams Musical instruments for all its ensemble performances, including the Marching Band, Spring Pep Band,  Internationally renowned Riverside All-Stars, and three time WGI Independent World Class Champion RCC Indoor Drumline.

The Indoor Drumline is the first RCC ensemble to take the stage with Pearl and Adams instruments at the WGI regional hosted by RCC on Feb. 20 in Riverside, CA.

So what can fans expect from RCC during this WGI season using Pearl and Adams? Gary Locke, Program Director for RCC Bands had this to say recently about the upcoming performances:
“I just stood in front of the winter drum line for the past hour - wow!  What a difference the front ensemble instruments make - in our look and our sound!  Can't wait for you to see and hear the show - it's way cool and super demanding - setting new standards... what we do.”

This is the 10th anniversary season for the 39 member RCC Indoor Drumline as they perform their show “My Steampunk Heart”. RCC will undoubtedly take the floor with confidence, enjoying every minute of their challenging and sophisticated program, filled with flashy effects, daring drill, and skillful interaction between front ensemble and battery.

Pearl / Adams Artists Jim Wunderlich, RCC Front Ensemble Arranger and Sean Vega, RCC Program Coordinator and Battery Arranger round out the RCC team and bring expertise and energy to the growing list of world-class educators, players, and ensembles that choose to play Pearl and Adams instruments.
